but It cleans up to almost new condition. now, remember this is a SURPLUS bayonet, so there was alittle wear on the blade and some grit in the sheath. I was able to tap the bayo down to where the button is secured, however it's still not simply sliding on/off, and when I've secured it there is a gap between the ring.
