As such, there's a lot of industrial and military locations, but also some fun locations like a volcano, waterfall, or so on.Īctivision Blizzard has yet to do a thorough introduction to the Caldera map, so these screenshots are the best way to get a feel for the new map at this time.

Since this is Call of Duty: Warzone, it strikes a fine line between a realistic setting and a more fanciful map.

Since it's a battle royale, the key locations are spread evenly over the island with jungle in between. Lastly, there's a beach location that looks to be a hotel, with surfboards planted in the sand and palm-leaf umbrellas.Īs befitting the Caldera name, all of the screenshots show the island is covered in palm trees and jungle foliage. Other screenshots show Caldera locations including a village built where two rivers join with lots of crossing bridges, an industrial site with cranes and warehouses, an airfield with a hangar, an outpost amid red clay roads where players can climb atop many small one-story buildings, and what could be a vehicle depot with the volcano base looming far overhead. There's a radio tower in the distance, what looks like a vine bridge over a deep valley, and a cuboid building along the water. The screenshot also offers a great view of one side of the island. There's a base on the top of a volcano that's currently in construction, so it's littered with stacks of lumber and other materials, tents for workers, and lots of scaffolding above high vertical drops. The first Caldera map screenshot, and perhaps the most exciting of the seven, shows a view from the map's highest point.
